It was recently that time of year where we celebrate fashion, runways and art at the Virgin Australia Melbourne Fashion Festival (also known as VAMFF). This year I attended Runway 2 with the following designer line up: Acler, Anna Quan, Arnsdorf, BY JOHNNY, C/MEO Collective, Hansen & Gretel and Morrison! Vibrant colours, ruffles and frills were definitely the common trend on the runway.
VAMFF is always a fun night with the girls, especially with The Plaza for pre and post runway festivities. There’s always food, drinks, pop up restaurants and live entertainment which is just what you need during fashion week! To add to the fun, there are always great installations set up like the Westfield Doncaster Fashion Kaleidoscope and Priceline Pharmacy Beauty Bar where you receive a complimentary beauty touch up. The best part of all these installations is the prizes that you go in the draw to win by simply taking an Insta!
Onto my VAMFF OOTD, I went for a simple yet chic all white look. Currently loving the 7/8 length pants look but mixed it up with a flared pair of 7/8 pants from Zara. Finished the pant suit look with a structured off white blazer from Missguided that had statement sleeves to add to the all-white look. I had considered wearing a white lace bralette underneath the blazer but the outfit seemed more sleek without. My current go to event choice of heels has lately been a pair of gold strappy Windsor Smith heels. They seem to go with almost every outfit and especially my VAMFF OOTD, perfectly matching the gold hardware on my Hermès Kelly Clutch.
