The Autumn Edit

Although it’s finally Autumn, Melbourne still can’t seem to make up its mind when it comes to the weather! My go to for the unpredictable weather over the weekend was a basic black strapless Bandeau Bodycon from Boohoo. These bodycon dresses are one of those staple items that you don’t really need to spend much on them but an item everyone should own in their wardrobe! Boohoo is an online store I recommend for your basic camisoles, bandeau tops and bodycon dresses. With the weather being super windy and cold one minute and sunny the next, I paired this outfit with a recently purchased oversized waterfall duster coat from Revolve Clothing which has that trench coat style – a must have piece of clothing for Autumn. It’s an easy outer coat option for Autumn, where you can leave it open or tie it up at the front. The colours for Autumn are definitely your warm colours such as dark reds and shades of brown. For me, black is considered an all year colour! Completed the look with my mini square Chanel classic flap bag with silver hardware. It’s an accessory that goes with almost every outfit, especially on those days you don’t want to be carrying a huge bag!
An item you’ll see me wearing a lot this Autumn and during the transition to Winter will be the Billini Octavia boots in suede. Purchased these last Winter and they have lasted me this long which is pretty impressive for me! You can easily get away with wearing these boots during Autumn with a casual wrap dress and still be on trend! These boots I would say are the perfect pair of shoes for both Fall and Winter.
