FRI-YAY! It has been ages since I went out for a proper brunch, so finally decided to try this new place that has been trending on Instagram. It’s a new little brunch place hidden in Hardware Lane, under the same owner as the well-known brunch place called “Hash Specialty” – you’ll probably know them by their signature hot chocolate with the ridiculously large fairy floss on top! (Yes it is absolutely delicious as it sounds). Funny enough, they both are just a few metres apart! Stay Tuned, as I’ll be doing a post on Hash very soon! White Mojo is definitely not your ordinary brunch place, as all dishes are created uniquely and presented beautifully!
Before we even arrived, I knew exactly what I wanted to order! That ‘dish with the lid covering the nitrogen in it’ and is the dish that I’ve seen the most on Instagram! Immediately, I ordered the Cauliflower Pannacotta($21) and my friend ordered the Pork Benedict ($22). They were both absolutely delicious meals from its flavour, texture and presentation! I loved the way the Cauliflower Pannacotta made its ‘entrance’ to our table, covered in a glass cloche with this ‘magic smoke’ inside (I honestly don’t know what it is). The waiter would slowly remove the lid off the dish while the smoke disperses – pretty cool huh! Check out the video taken when it came to our table down below! Waiting for our dishes to come, we were contemplating whether we should order the sweet dish which aesthetically looks impressive! We couldn’t resist so went along and ordered the Eton Mess($16) as well. Overall, all dishes was delicious!! I couldn’t even choose which one was my favourite. I definitely want to take Mr P here for brunch! The “sweet dish” is certainly something I would come for when searching for something sweet with berries and a beautiful crunch from the meringue shards. There are already so many dishes from the menu I can’t wait to order next time! They also had these irresistible donuts on for display by the counter (unfortunately I was way too full to get a donut to go!) and ALSO everyone around us kept ordering their infamous Matcha Latte with beautiful coffee art.
